  • Installation of the first injection molding machine

  • New production era of roly-poly made of plastic starts

  • Expansion of toy production with the help of blow moulding process

  • Development and presentation of the first tricycle tractor

1965

  • Construction of the company's own production tool

  • Construction of the production hall at "Bahnhof South" with its own rail connection. Today known as "Werk II" in the Franz-Schneider-Straße in Neustadt near Coburg.

1966

Mercedes Traktor

  • First production of the Mercedes children's vehicle made of polyethylene

  • Presentation of the first four-wheel tractor, Massey Fergusson, in scale 1:4

1970

  • Construction of a branch by son and Mrs. Irmgard Schneider in St. Lucia di Pive - Northern Italy

  • Specialization in rational metal production

1975

  • Gernot Schneider (Graduate in Engineer) takes over the management of rolly toys in Neustadt near Coburg

1976

  • Type-changing transformation of the company into a GmbH & Co. KG

1984

  • Franz Schneider withdraws from the operative business

  • Expansion of the company by Gernot Schneider and his wife Irmgard

1986

  • Development of the winches, one of the first functional attachments and a Longseller until today

1987

  • Reconstruction and expansion of the logistics area at the Neustadt location

  • Construction of a modern parts warehouse as a preliminary stage for the finale assembly

1996

  • Further expansion of the logistics area through a modern high-bay warehouse

1997

  • Company founder dies at the age of 87 years

  • Frank R. Schneider, the son of Gernot Schneider, and Irmgard Schneider become managing partners

  • Presentation of the World's first pedal truck, a unimog, at the toy fair in Nuremberg

  • "Red Dot" for outstanding design of the rolly toys wheelbarrow

1998

  • Start of the substantial expansion of plant II in the Franz-Schneider-Straße

2001

  • Co-founder Rosa Schneider dies at the age of 92 years

2002 - today

  • Production of more than 250.000 childern's vehicles per year by 30 blow and injection moulding machines each on 36.000m²

  • Frank R. Schneider is firmly committed to the family owned company based in Neustadt near Coburg

  • In the future rolly toys will serve further as a premium brand at a high level and with dedicated employees, will again go on the offensive with impressive expansions of the product range.
